Preamble

Smart cities are considered as a knowledgeable space whose services satisfy their citizens and strengthen the values ​​of their belonging. They are constantly keeping up with contemporary and modern issues through planning, anticipation and vigilance in all areas to create a space for peaceful coexistence. Their role is embodied in promoting sustainable development in various fields in order to maintain their upscale and prosperity. Following this way has led smart cities to achieve great successes, especially in Western countries, such as Barcelona and Amsterdam and so on. These countries have been progressing and till nowadays are still trying to progress more through keeping up with the new technological development. These cities also use new and modern ways of living, which is what third world countries are trying to reach.

The United Arab Emirates pioneered planning to construct smart cities that compete with other global cities and its first initiatives were in Dubai in 2007 followed by some rich Arab countries. On the whole, smart cities envision their future at all levels and aim to provide a digital environment conducive to creativity and learning.

Thus, with regard to what have previously been mentioned the following research questions are raised: How can we develop and construct smart cities in third world countries? What are the available and suitable programs to create such cities, especially in the Arab world? And how can intellectual vigilance occur in such cities or anywhere in the world to live peacefully?

Objectives of the Conference

1 – Highlight the global smart cities through the intervention of various specialists.

  1. Propose recommendations to contribute to the construction and development of smart cities with international standards in developing countries especially.

3 – Encouraging scientific research to study such topics

Axis 01: conceptual and theoretical framework for smart cities

Axis 02: The social and economic situation in c smart cities (intelligent electronic commerce, smart governance, economic intelligence, smart investment, e-tourism and services, smart environment in addition to electronic crime and delinquency.

 Axis 03: Human Development and Intelligent Education in Smart Cities (e-learning, electronic translation, Arabic language and languages ​​…)

Axis 04: Architecture and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Smart Cities

Axis 05: Smart Health Care in Smart Cities (Care for People with Special Needs …)

Axis 06: Decrees, laws and international politics through smart cities

Axis 07: Prospecting smart cities through the experiences of some of the leading countries

Axis 08: Smart city planning and engineering strategies in the world

Axis 09: Intellectual vigilance and smart cities in developing countries

Indications to authors 

 * The research paper should be one of the themes of the conference

 * The research specifications and standards should be available in the paper

* The research paper should not be published or presented at previous meetings or events

* The number of pages should not exceed 20 pages (A4) including margins and references, and not less than 12 pages

* The languages ​​of the conference are Arabic, French, English and German, and the summary is in a different language

*The paper written in Arabic should be in (Simplified Arabic font. size14) , while the foreign-language research is in the Times New Roman font size 12 and the page margins are up, down, right and left (2.5) cm

* Full paper should be submitted with an abstract in Arabic and another in the foreign language you are going to participate with

*A brief biography that includes the researcher’s address, email, mobile number and university should be attached to the paper

* The research paper should be sent in the form of a PDF file via the e-mail address shown below

*The research paper should include one or two researchers

*Accepted papers will be published in the center’s journal and a collective book with an international ISSN
