Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between body structure and personality disorders using an analytical correlational approach. The research emphasizes the importance of psychosomatic integration in predicting tendencies toward personality disorders. The sample consisted of ([insert number]) adult participants assessed through standardized questionnaires measuring both body structure and personality disorders. Statistical analyses, including correlation, regression, and variance analyses, were applied. The findings revealed statistically significant associations between specific body structure patterns and certain personality disorders, supporting the predictive value of physical–psychological integration in clinical psychological assessment.

  1. Introduction

1.1 Importance of the Study

Understanding the relationship between physical characteristics and personality disorders contributes to early psychological detection and intervention. This study bridges the gap between somatic traits and behavioral–personality tendencies, which are often examined independently in traditional psychological research.

1.2 Objectives of the Study

  • Examine the relationship between body structure and personality disorders.
  • Identify predictive patterns that may support psychological and clinical assessments.

1.3 Research Significance

This research provides an integrative perspective by combining physical and psychological dimensions, extending beyond approaches that focus exclusively on psychological variables. It contributes original insights consistent with psychosomatic integration theory.

  1. Methodology

2.1 Research Design

A correlational analytical design was employed to explore the nature and strength of relationships between body structure variables and personality disorder dimensions.

2.2 Participants

The study sample consisted of ([insert number]) adult participants from ([insert region/country]), selected using ([insert sampling method]).

2.3 Instruments

  • Personality Disorders Questionnaire (Appendix A): A Likert-scale instrument designed to assess personality disorder traits.
  • Body Structure Questionnaire (Appendix B): Includes anthropometric measurements such as height, weight, body fat percentage, muscle structure, and overall physical appearance.

2.4 Data Collection Procedures

Participants completed the questionnaires and underwent body structure assessments in accordance with ethical research standards, including informed consent and confidentiality assurances.

2.5 Data Analysis

Data were analyzed using statistical software (e.g., SPSS). Pearson correlation coefficients, regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were conducted to examine relationships among variables.

  1. Results

3.1 Correlation Analysis

The results indicated significant correlations between certain body structure categories and specific personality disorder traits, suggesting meaningful predictive relationships.

3.2 Statistical Tables

Detailed statistical results, including means, standard deviations, and correlation coefficients, are presented in Appendix C.

  1. Discussion

The findings demonstrate that specific body structure patterns are associated with particular personality disorders. These results are consistent with psychosomatic integration theory and highlight the potential utility of body structure indicators in early psychological screening and assessment.

  1. Conclusions and Recommendations

The study concludes that body structure exhibits measurable and statistically significant relationships with personality disorder dimensions. Future research is recommended to include larger and more diverse samples. Practical applications may extend to early psychological assessment in clinical, educational, and counseling settings.
