Abstract

This study aims to identify the status quo of applying e-management in the college of Continuous Education &Community Service at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University (IMAMU) during the COVID-19 pandemic from the prospective of the management staff, as well as to clarify the obstacles that might prevent applying it. The study relied on the descriptive survey approach and used questionnaire as tool to collect the data from the population of the study, who were 76 female management staff. The study revealed that the status quo of applying e-management in the college was moderate in which the organization field came first in applying the e-management followed by the control &evaluation, and lastly planning. On the other hand, the results indicated that there are obstacles with significant impact that face applying the e-management in the college. The obstacles were listed as followed: financial obstacles, human obstacles, administrative obstacles and technical obstacles. This study suggests the necessity of establishing advanced training programs provided to the management staff.
