Abstract
Technology has revolutionized the dissemination and sharing of information among human beings. The Internet has provided digital means of interaction, and communication methods have evolved to allow information to be shared among us on different means. Social media has created endless streams of interactions between Internet users. Also Information and communication technologies have changed rapidly over the past 20 years, and throughout the world, smartphones that have contributed to keeping the world connected, wherever you are and whenever you want.The impact of Social networks has brought radical changes in the society we live in, in the language we speak, and in the ways we communicate.
This research seeks to discuss the changes taking place in the course of communication process, language and society. This dissertation argues that that these changes occur as the result of the technological revolution that the world undergoes, and these changes include the effects of social media. To achieve this goal, this dissertation points to recognition of the technological and social foundations of social media and their role in the development of individual lives within society and how all of these are resulted from the breakthrough in the use of smartphone technology and internet connectivity.
This dissertation is based on the theory of social construction and technology development, which provides social meaning of mobile phones and social media in the context of everyday life practices. Seraching for how the smartphone affects society, how can it transform it, by changing culture and social life, and other diverse aspects of modern society, are the aims set behind this dissertation. It is to look for an understanding of all the positive and negative aspects of social media and the smartphone in society.

The importance of the study
Social media and the development of telecommunications technology, our reality is more connected than ever, With the widespread use of the Internet . The large flow and circulation of information can affect a range of human areas, such as language, society, and communication. The continued use of social media, accompanying formal and informal conversations, interaction between individuals, and the formation of virtual friendships have contributed to the production of a new language traded by the “Internet generation” on social media.
Research Questions
The Arab Spring is one of the best known examples of how social media may be able to change the world. But it is not only about bringing activists together, but also about holding human rights violators accountable. “Shared content on social media has an increasing potential to be used as evidence of wartime atrocities and human rights violations, and these videos constitute potential evidence that may one day be submitted to an international tribunal.” If social media and social media in general are part of society, there are many fears of their negative effects.
New influences affect the various uses of social media. These include the linguistic aspects that is reinforced in emoji language, symbols and expressions, which give more emotion to everyday messages and interactions. These aspects facilitate communication between individuals and give more freedom of expression and break down barriers and linguistic norms than before.
Therefore, an important aspect of the impact of social media on the individual is the language used to communicate, and therefore a range of questions will form the basis of this study, such as:
- What is the nature of new social media communications?
- What are the reasons behind using the emoji and expressions in instant messaging?
- What is the surroundings of using the emoji language? To what extent can it affect communication?
- Does this new language affect normal language? Could the emoji be a new linguistic alternative, or could it simply be symbols?
- Is there a relationship between the official and the Emoji languages?
Study hypotheses
In order to answer these questions, I believe that the results of the research envisaged are based on the following hypotheses:
- There is an apparent correlation between the age element and the increasing proportion of the use of social media emoji codes.
- Using emoji codes does not affect the language used to communicate through social media.
- There is no apparent correlation between the use of emoji symbols and its impact on communication between groups in society.
Data collection
The importance of emoji is highlighted by the important evolution in the use of this language on social media, because of multiple considerations centred around, inter alia, the age group and areas of use of these media. In order to highlight this importance with a desperate mousse, I will distribute a form of interest to people’s poor people on the one hand about the importance of the Emuje and its effects on the language.
A set of indicators, which are a key building block for applied research, has been engaged. Given that the emoji language is used solely on social media, a form will be shared with a sample of participants on Facebook, so that the search community will be made up of participants between the ages of 19 and 40.
The form was distributed to the research sample by adopting a simple random sample selection, so that each member of the community has an equal opportunity in the selection process. This method has been used as one of the most effective sampling methods, and it is the most direct of all probable sampling methods, as it involves only one random selection and requires little prior knowledge about the research community. Given that the research community of this research is characterized by its inability to confine it, this method contributes to a high degree of reliability by confirming the validity and validity of the data internally and externally.
A different medium (urban and village) will also be accredited, given its importance in determining how the intermediaries deal with the Emogi language, if there are differences in its use, and the official language, which each person uses to express through social media.
Emoji, a new means of communication in media
In the time of technology, language has acquired a new form of expression, most notably the emergence of new words such as (Friends List, Blog, Tweet…). By doing social media, words such as “friend, status and profile” have taken on new, virtual meanings traded by users of these sites to denote online actions. Social media has made it easier to introduce new words to the lexicon, and we even have special lexicons for social media sites, where new words are created. A large proportion of online messages include new graphic codes such as “EMOJI”.
The daily communication that social media keeps us on compels users to use new ways of dialogue, depending on time and time requirements, where abbreviations can replace words, or summarize a single emoji, in full. The impact of social media and platforms on language is therefore a real phenomenon. It has been able to change our vocabulary, and the way we write and expre our feelings, especially among a wide range of young people we now call the “social media generation” or the “Internet generation.”
Language as a purely human and civilized product is constantly evolving, and throughout history, influenced by the quality of the prevailing economic, political and cultural context. As language is influenced by ideology, economic progress, and globalization, technology, mobile phones and social media have become the world’s largest modern influences on languages[1]. This affects the cognitive outcomes of new language in today’s young people, and in the next generation, who will not have to think about language for expression and writing, as technological progress will exempt them from the attention we used to pay to language in our daily lives.
The influence of social media on language cannot be limited to the means of communication, so that this means is also linked to society and the way it communicates. As these media pivotally contributed to the “democratic spring” revolutions, which began with posts on individuals’ pages on the media by sharing invitations to demonstrate, they also constituted a revolution in linguistic communication, relying on symbols and expressions to reveal feelings and feelings and interaction between individuals associated with these networks.
Users of symbols in social media communication view the emoji as one of the most universal languages, for example in Morocco the smiling face is the same in Spain, France, Germany… When it comes to a different culture, there are some language barriers, but a global language in which feelings and most other elements and aspects of the conversation are united is a strong starting point for good communication. But can we express only by emoji without using writing? A strong starting point for good connectivity. But can we express only by emoji without using writing?
Since the launch of emojis, we have seen them evolve over the years, both at the level of quality and quantity, but perhaps more socially important in social media, where they vary in some features from Facebook to Twitter to Apple and others, and on the other hand in creating a kind of emoji related to poses, crafts, music machines, and animal types[2].
What originally began as a small symbol is now part of modern culture and part of today’s society. This has become a form of language that the majority understands. Who knows that an ATM may turn into an Emogi symbol, rather than writing “Choose Language,” or “Do you want to draw invoices or take out securities.”
Communication between human beings is constantly changing, adapting to social trends, lifestyles and modern technology, and language is recognized as a changing being. The advent of mobile communications initially raised concerns among traditionalists in the linguistic community that language had become a small function of communicating with the emergence of social media and the Emogi language. But language may come in many forms, including the use of emojis.
Spoken language, always provided with emotional or physical signals, whether vocal, hand gestures, eye or other visual elements. In the digital context, this cannot be talked about, so the emoji codes close this gap in a very creative and visible way and ensure that the interlocutors’ thoughts and feelings are expressed in a concise and enjoyable manner.
Since many expressions of emotion in the face are universal, this also underscores the potential universality of the image language. In fact, they act as non-verbal alternatives that tell the reader what the face is. A study by Google-owned YouTube revealed that cartoon codes are the preferred method of communication between teenagers, who are considered the worst violators of the language rules and numbering marks used by people in the language. This indicates that languages over time are subject to change.
According to statistics, social media users use about 300 “Emoji tweets” on Twitter per second. As smartphones and social networks evolved, shortcuts declined and symbols replaced them.
Through design, emoji codes make a direct link between written communication and the icon world, using images that have connotations, and for greater understanding we should think of emoji codes about being actual language or not?, Can we send a complete message to someone consisting of emojis? But once we look at our daily levels of communication, we cannot, for example, use emoji symbols as a means of communicating at work, in official institutions or using them in a phone call, or fully understand them, or contain names, actions, and collections of the individual, which is why most linguists consider that emogi symbols are not a language strictly speaking[3].
However, people use the word “language” metaphorically, as when speaking programming languages, body language, and dance language, to describe all forms and templates that achieve communication. In language, sentences consist of words, words derived from morphemes, and the shape is made of sounds, so many sentences cannot be formed in an emoji, without the help of some words.
Emotion symbols reflect a speaker’s emotional state and can be seen as a separate way of communicating with the written text. The meaning of emojis and images has often been underestimated, and they may mean different things in different contexts. Emojis are indicators of the strength of the text that accompanies them and do not contribute to the topical content of the language used.
Our goal through this study is to try to answer a fundamental problem, namely the importance of the emoji language, which affects the ordinary language on the one hand, and communication between members of the community on the other. To this end, we have selected all users of Facebook and Instagram from young women and young people from SOS Diamond as the search community with a final random sample of 437 individuals. The form was shared between May 31, 2021 and June 15, 2021, and was displayed for two weeks.
As mentioned above, young people are considered to be among the most Emogi-using groups by communicating through social media. Considering that social media has become a necessity within society, we have had to dismantle the elements of the most emoguey age groups on the one hand, as well as try to understand the changes in this dynamic between both urban and rural areas, whether they have any common influence on the outputs of this thesis.
The average age group of 22 is 64%. 26.41 We account for 92 per cent of the target group. When we study the relationship between the surroundings of Internet use and the age factor, there is statistical discrepancy. 40 percent of the target group is in the rural area, while 60 percent of the urban population is in the urban area[4].
ur research community consists of participants between the ages of 19 and 40, with the age group between 19 and 25 constituting 64.1% of the total sample with an average arithmetic equivalent to 22 years. It is then followed by a category between 26 and 30 years of age of 16.5% and a category of 31 and 35 years of 10.7%. Taking the first three categories, together they form an average calculation of 26.41 years, indicating the quality of the age group’s impact using the Internet. The 35 – 40 year group represents 8.7 per cent of the participants.

From graph 1, the first, second and third categories account for a total of 91.3 percent of total sample, confirming the extent to which the youth group is integrated into the communication process via social media platforms. This acquisition is mainly due to the fact that social media platforms provide more space for expression without the need for direct confrontation. Christine Trapp tells us that, social media platforms contribute to the phenomenal evolution that actually affects the character of young people, so that young people are more “compassionate” in their daily lives, because a single emoji smile can improve the mood for days. Social media also gives shy young people a space for interaction that leads the individual to effectively integrate into society. The results confirm the relationship between the age variable and the use of the emoji language on social media, so that young people prefer to use the emoji symbols in conversation more than other age groups.
According to the community’s social media community, which accounts for 77.8 per cent of the sample and 22.2 per cent of the village, these users highlight young people’s interest in using social media and its importance in communicating within the community, which for the current study is of paramount importance for answering the questions raised.

From our study, we find that the age group with a computational average of 22 accounts for the majority of users of the Internet, forgetting 91.3 percent in the village area. This disparity is due to the fact that most of those responding to the questionnaire were located in the cities of Acadir and Wanzkan Ait Mull, where Internet access is easy compared to other users in villages. Most studies reviewed nationally or internationally focused on a sample of urban youth and documented the relationship between Internet use and an individual’s economic level. In the Indian context, for example, there is evidence of 30.3% dependency criteria among the group of students in village areas, with an average age of 15.1 years, where the importance of economic factor in accessing Internet services has been considered. A number of students in urban areas were also found to have a greater problem in accessing Internet services than in rural areas. Our study concluded that the relationship between young people and the renewal of communication mechanisms existed among young people without distinction between living. However, the disparity in access to social media platform services for the urban community has to be alerted. This study did not delve into this subject, and we may have a later date to highlight how important it is to differentiate individuals within one community.
Realistic and Emoji Language
The increasing symbols of the Emogi language to meet all expressions and communicative attitudes within society are proof of their intense usage and privileged social media language. They are going to be close to face – to – face communication, as these symbols compensate for our features in direct expression. When individuals try to express positive feelings, it is usually claimed that emotions help alleviate the mood for transmitting messages, such as a smile during a talk, because it makes it easier for interlocutors to express what they say and the communication will be clearer. Similarly, using emoji language expressions would make the form of communication less formal, less serious and friendly, such as messages without expressions that appear to be emotionless. Expressions can also be seen as a reflection of the personality of those who use them because users cannot see the expression of a real face.
“Emotions in Internet communications can tighten or highlight the meaning of the message or tone that is accompanied by the message, and emotions can also express the direct mood of the sender and finally make the communication more creative and vibrant [5].
In view of the above, the recipient has the impression that the Emoji language has become a necessity for users of antisocial platforms. Our study tries to enlighten the lands used by the entity in relation to Emugi. One of the most important features of this study is the geographical surroundings in which the study was confined.

Despite the dominance of the Amazigh language in Seusse Diamond, Arabic became dominant in the arena of communication between individuals. If we analyze the statistics that we have obtained through the questionnaire, we find that the Arabic language represents us by 59.3 percent, as the members of the sample, followed by Amazigh by 13.3 percent, and French by 13.3 percent, followed by English by 6.4 percent. However, these percentages remain relative, taking into account individuals who expressed their opinion using what they called “Arabic”, i.e. Arabic in Latin letters, and others who use slang as a means of communication.
The dominance of the Arabic language on social media may be primarily due to the language policies in Morocco. As Morocco tried to apply the policy of Arabization before the Amazigh case arose. As Rabia Radouane (1998) stated in her article (Arabization in Morocco’s educational system: Problems and Prospects), “Morocco, like other countries, faces major national problems. Although the Moroccan Government has recently devoted considerable efforts to the formulation of a careful multisectoral policy, of particular importance to the educational system, which aims to promote Arabic as a language of literacy and wider communication, as well as to the demarcation of Amazigh as a national language, the view regarding the use of Amazigh as a social media language varies across groups.
In our search for the relationship we can draw between emoji and reality languages s language “, shows that the ratio of use of the Emogi language in a single sentence, is multiple in the category of individuals in that 30 per cent, 7 per cent, use the emoji in the sentence in the conversation, At 91 and 100 per cent, 26.8 per cent of the emoji is used per sentence at between 71 and 90 per cent. 18.3 per cent of the emuje is used per sentence between 51 and 70 per cent With an average calculation of more than 65 per cent, 60 individuals use emoji codes per sentence.

The proportion obtained from the sample study explains that some respondents often use emoji codes in communication and conversation, while language is a complementary part, which is the opposite of the overall view of researchers that emoji is merely a supplement to ordinary language. Internet and computer users were previously restricted to terminating their messages in limited letters, as in instant emails For example, Twitter users had only 140 characters per tweet And this has led them to consider other alternatives such as the use of punctuation, Abbreviations and expressions that were simultaneously technical to save time By using expressions, users of expressions were able to express themselves further and the expressions that enabled them to express their emotions more accurately without exceeding the specific letters.
In addition, as a result of time capacity, interlocutors find it natural and easier to write down or shorten phrases such as the use of (LOL, BTW, OMG) Although this technology is not new if compared with Samuel Morse, the inventor of the telegraph “Morse” in 1830, Morse’s code structure depended on each number and letter being represented by a symbol consisting of chips and dots. Returning to the current world of technology in which online technology and communications make up most of our daily interactions, individuals try to use expressions and other forms of imoguery as tools to save time and space.

The use of these codes by users of the Internet may be made consciously or unconsciously, as a proportion of users are aware that these codes constitute the Emogi language, while some continue to use them merely as a dependency of familiar language forms on the Internet, since the advent of chat rooms and text messages. In response to our question about the study participants’ mastery of the Emoji language, the result was that 12.1 per cent of the sample knew well about the use of the Emoji language at between 91 and 100 per cent.
Expressions can be used in different ways, these different methods also use language functions. Speakers’ messages containing expressions to three different language functions can be understood as follows:
Repeating the text, which is an emotional supplement, that is, the symbols supplement the language text, as “while adding ‘Christmas cake’ to a happy birthday message does not provide additional information per se, it adds supplementary value (emotional).” In terms of supplementary use, it is possible to include expressions either before or after the text part of the letter.
- Language and Emotion (Emotional Supplement): (Happy Birthday)
Supplementary use of the meaning, such as writing “thank you” in language, followed by a finger symbol, referring to “the attitude was manly.”
- Language Followed by Emoji (Moral Supplement) Thank You
- Emoji language is independent: Emoji language directly, such as writing a smiling face symbol, during the morning, or a pessimistic face as a sign of anxiety.
When we look back over time, we discover that the power of the image has always been there. Even in prehistoric times, humans used images to communicate, and what is most important is that we are able to analyze those drawings and understand their meaning thousands of years later. Images have the ability to exceed time and language. Images, whether cave drawings or expressions, enable us to convey a message that is not restrictive but cosmic. This makes young people who use emoji perfectly capable of understanding each other in purely linguistic, imaginary, or mixed contexts. But what also characterizes this study is that the 22 – year – old group has a higher inclination to use a single bulk emoji than 95.16 percent, while the 35 – 40 – year – old group prefers to use an emoji at less than 1 percent in the sentence, which confirms hypothesis No. 1.
Modes of use and effects on language
Facebook [6]is the most widely used site in Morocco, so the majority of the sample answered that the use of the emoje is done through the use of this medium, whether by applying Messenger messages or posting and interacting directly on the site. 76.9 Facebook participants in the conversation use emogi. More than 67 per cent of Facebook browsers in North Africa are young people between the ages of 13 and 29. Although there are many social media apps, Facebook remains the site of choice in North Africa and Morocco, providing effective communication and interaction with public opinion issues.

There is a range of reasons for using ADL’s emoji, summarized in the following:
- Positive emojis and emojis can serve as a sign of individuals’ status.
- Real human reaction reveals that when people look at a smiling face on the Internet, the same parts of the brain are activated as when they look at a real human face.
- Some studies reveal how people communicate in the workplace using the emotional, and if the president’s negative reactions are accompanied by positive emojis, employees do not feel terrible about the message.
- Sometimes there is also a connection between symbols and happiness in real life.
With regard to the reasons for using the emoji, 46.2 per cent prefer the emoji to facilitate communication, while 33.2 per cent see the reason for using the need to reduce the time of conversation and expression. While 20.6 per cent of the sample considers that this contributes to economics in writing. The reasons for using Emoji S $1 are a lot of things that are important to social media teachers.
Expressions of the emoji language can sometimes close the language gap between correspondents, as everyone understands what a smiling face, heart, or pizza is. Expressions are a comprehensive tool for communication without rules, paralysing the sender’s movement, obliging him to respect them, and taking time and time to write. It is difficult to capture audiovisual signals through text. While some believe that using images to communicate more information with fewer words helps people to express themselves, as they provide a means to convey nuances and emotion. Expressions help to make messages more personal and humane.

- Do we put a point before the emoji? And do we put another next?
- The context of the relationship constitutes social ideas, feelings, and the relationship between interlocutors can affect the pattern, rules and frequency of use of expressions. Among the study sample, emoji users prefer to place their symbols after the idea, by 79 per cent, which reinforces the context we spoke of earlier, in the fact that the emoji is often complementary. There is currently no clear study of the rules for the use of the emoji with the ordinary language, but in general, even in foreign languages they are used at the end of the sentence, as confirmed by the majority of the study sample. All these data assure us that emoji symbols are merely a means of communication and expression, and do not affect the language used on social media.

In face – to – face communications, people share empathy and create relationships through a phenomenon called emotional infection, in which similar emotions and corresponding behaviors are released directly from one person to another. In digital communication, expressions serve the purpose of translating emotions to express facial expressions. In fact, researchers found that the same parts of the brain are activated when an individual sees emotion as when they see true human facial expressions. As such, expressions resolve the inability to express gestures and feelings by allowing users to communicate through a variety of graphic characters to express opinions, feelings, and personality.
In digital communication, helping expressions represent human gestures, vocal tones and physical expressions that people make when communicating with vocabulary. As such, people read expressions as emotional information, which helps to express the meaning of digital messages that can sometimes vary depending on individual personality and individual social context. Some researchers have also claimed that language expressions have three linguistic functions: emotional indicators directly associated with facial expressions (for example, sad) and non-emotional indicators directly associated with facial expressions (for example, joke), and indicators not related to facial expressions but with deep intention. According to the study, 60, 9 per cent of the sample, assert that the emoji represents thoughts and feelings, while 43, 6 believe it represents only the sensation, while 4, 5 of the interrogators see it as only the ideas.

This result led us to question the places and surroundings of emotional use, as long as it reflected more feelings, the respondent to the study was that 78, 7 used with friends. Although social media has created family emojis, Especially Facebook, most commonly used in the study sample, but this was not an incentive for respondents. This can be explained by the fact that most children consider their communication with others to be more special. In addition to the control exercised by parents over the use of mobile phones by their children, social media “, which often loses family communication through social media.
Reasons for using the emoji
Important terms (realistic gestures and important symbols) were all used by people to reflect humans’ unique ability to express an idea through a gesture (such as a spoken word) with the same meaning in another person. Nevertheless, the concept of abstraction reflects the fact that, in general, the symbol is not directly related to what it represents – it is an abstract reference to both tangible and intangible things. The attribution of a given symbol to a particular catalyst is simply on the whim of those who presented it for the first time. The symbols mean “only unanimously used”… Because a range of code users consistently adopt the agreement to use certain symbols.
More used tools (symbols or emojis)
46.9 per cent of the study sample believed that using an emoji was behind it to express a sense during a conversation, whereas 16.2 employs an emoji for the reason that a sense of direction of a particular event is expressed, which often occurs when a news is sent, or commenting on a particular post. This can be explained by the fact that the symbol and images are always more expressive than words.
Humans communicate through language. But what makes one style of speech or language writing unique? Do you count expressions as a new language, or are they just images that add colour to our online conversations?
Britannica defines language as “a system of traditional spoken, manual (signed) or written symbols by which humans, as members of a social group and participants in its culture, express themselves.”
Another view expressed by prominent Internet linguist Gretchen McCullock is that language is an “open source project.” It is an ever-evolving construction that works when the messenger successfully communicates information to the recipient. That debate opens up the consideration of expressions as a new language. They help communicate ideas and allow humans to express themselves.
The study in our hands provides us with accurate indications of the reasons and places for using emoji codes. For example, 23, 8 per cent, expressed the possibility of using an emoji only to communicate, without using language and words, while 59 per cent believed that an emoji alone could not be used during the conversation, while 17, 2 per cent of the sample did not know whether it could communicate only in an emogi language.

Many interested and scholars have expressed that expressions will replace our widely used languages. But fear that younger generations will permanently ruin the holy rules of language. But as McCullock pointed out in her book, “language is constantly evolving. While the younger generation incorporates emotions into informal conversations, they do not kill language. ” “Instead, it makes it easier for others to understand clearly what they are trying to say.” But this prompts us again to wonder whether there is an influence of the emoji language on the official language, the result being that 51, 3 believe that there is no influence on the ordinary language, while 33, 2 of the study sample, expressed an effect of the emogi on the language.
This study examined the causal link between emoji symbols and changes in communication between certain groups within society in a desperate mess. This causal relationship borders on hypothesis No. 3, which negates any apparent correlation between the prevalence of emotional use and its effect on communication. This is due to the importance of these symbols on the psychological state of people in the conversation mode within social media platforms.
Conclusion
The study’s most important findings are that there is a causal link between age and the increasing use of social media emoji codes. The purpose of this study was to find the impact of the emoji language on the transmission of people’s emotions and expressions and their impact on the text language of users. This study provides us with information on how to change the style of text messages in the shortest image. The expressions gradually turned into rolling “language” and controlled the psychology of social media users. In the current circumstances, where there is widespread interest in conversations due to the widespread creation of social media and its control over human communication, individuals have the impression that they are satisfied with the use of expressions.
Regardless of individuals being addicted to the use of expressions and symbols, this has become a vital aspect of their text conversations. On social media, expressions are controlled because of their attractiveness and colorful nature. They are used to overcome any barrier between emotions and text.
In communicative terms, the emoji has achieved language status, influencing the official language, and in many respects outperforming it in speed of expression, and the load of emotions. However, the use of expressions in text conversation affects language dictionaries, increases composite and mixed language, and the language of abbreviations. But according to the analysis, most individuals also consider that their use of expressions in text conversation does not affect their language. It can therefore be argued that although the vocabulary is influenced by more uses of the emoji, the grammar is unaffected.
In this study, the scope of the examination predicts that the use of expressions may transform digital communication. The future may see a changing form of communication through Internet – based media with less use of language and more expressions.
Analysis of participants’ data showed that expressions were often used according to the current mood of users. Expressions are often used by people to express their own emotions and feelings. It was noted that individuals often send expressions to their friends and family. It was noted that expressions were often used in an informal conversation.
The analysis also focuses on the fact that sentiment is the reason why social media is motivated. It is also the cause of happiness for people using it in their text communications. People think that expressions also demystify their text messages. In the analysis, it was noted that people felt that more use of expressions in text conversation facilitated communication.
We have also recorded the interactive relationship between the Emogi language and the language, without influencing it, since the use of the emoji language with Arabic on social media does not negatively or positively affect the language of the interlocutors. Another reflects the use of Arabic more than Amazigh, although the majority of the school population speaks Amazigh, because of Morocco’s linguistic policy and its influence on communication.
