ملخص:
في ضوء نتائج الدراسة الميدانية المنجزة بالمغرب حول شباب الشوارع، يقترح هذا المقال تحليلاً وصفياً لسيرورة اندماج هذه الفئة من الشباب في الفضاء العمومي. بعيدا عن الخطابات التي تتناول ظاهرة شباب الشوارع في بعدها الاجتماعي المأساوي، يسعى المقال إلى تقديم منظور سوسيولوجي أكثر تركيزا على هؤلاء الشباب، باعتبارهم فاعلين يتمتعون بقدر من حرية التصرف والاختيار. فهؤلاء الشباب لا يستوطنون الشوارع بين عشية وضحاها، بل ينخرطون في سيرورة عبر مراحل من الاكتشاف إلى الإغراء ثم إلى الاندماج والتملك. اعتمادا على مهاراتهم الاجتماعية يتمكن شباب الشوارع من بناء عالمهم الخاص في الفضاء العمومي على هامش المجتمع، حيث ينجحون في تحويل الفضاء العمومي إلى مكان للسكن وللترفيه وللحياة. ومن ثم يتمكنون من الانفلات من القيود التي يفرضها عليهم المجتمع ومختلف مؤسساته الضبطية
Résumé
À la lumière des résultats d’une étude empirique menée au Maroc sur les jeunes des rues, cet article propose une analyse descriptive de processus d’intégration de ce groupe de jeunes dans l’espace public. Loin des discours qui abordent le phénomène des jeunes de la rue dans sa dimension sociale tragique, l’article cherche à offrir une perspective sociologique plus ciblée aux jeunes des rues, en tant qu’acteurs ayant une certaine liberté d’action et de choix. Ces jeunes ne s’installent pas dans les rues du jour au lendemain, mais ils s’engagent dans un processus qui traverse les étapes de la découverte à la tentation, puis à l’intégration et à l’appropriation. S’appuyant sur leurs compétences sociales, les jeunes de la rue peuvent construire leur propre monde dans l’espace public en marge de la société, ce qui permet de le transformer en lieu de résidence, de loisirs et de vie. Ils sont ainsi en mesure d’échapper aux restrictions qui leur sont imposées par la société et par ses diverses institutions du contrôle social.
Abstract
In the light of the results of an empirical study conducted in Morocco on street youth, this article provides a descriptive analysis of the integration process of this group of young people in the public space. Far from addressing the phenomenon of street youth in its tragic social dimension, the article seeks to provide a more targeted sociological perspective for street youth as actors with some freedom of action and choice. These young people do not move into the streets overnight, but they engage in a process that moves through the stages of discovery to temptation and then to integration and ownership. Relying on their social skills, street youth can build their own world in the public space on the margins of society, which makes it possible to transform it into a place of residence, leisure and life. They are thus able to escape the restrictions imposed on them by society and by its various institutions of social control.
