Libya between the African migrants surge and the Nato dam
By :Ibrahim Benneji – Zliten – Libya
Last month, andwhile the Nato warships joined the European operations “Sophia” at the front of the Libyan coast ,supporting the efforts “ofcombat the humans smuggling to the north coasts of the Mediterranean sea” ,the secret strategy of pushing down the country under the black flooding was uncovered, and exposed for all the Libyan authorities.
At the major squares, afternoons ,and when the heat of summer starts to fall down ,the immigrants occupation of the Libyan cities become more reality and visible nightmare.
The open desert, with the wide avenues and branches make it impossible for the weak&untrainedgovernment’s forces to stop the Africansfrom heading the north coast and starting their adventures to reach the dream land of Europe, where they can find job and abode.
This black surge to the Libyan territories will not stop ,as the poor surrounded countries (Niger, Chad, Sudan) , with the open boundaries, having the highest population growth ratein the planet ,”with the recent populations of 72 million”, which expected to be doubling within 20 years.
Economically, no significant progress expected to be achieved, as theForeign “Especially French” companies owned and holds the right of exploitations of the most ofnatural resources “Uranium ,gold ,Oil , etc “ in these countries, with only 20% of the revenue received by local governments in some cases.
From the humanitarian concerns of the crisis;making a military dam on the Mediterranean sea is not acceptableby the international humanitarian organizations as it will confining millions of refuges in Libya “without acceptable humanitarian conditions”.
From the Libyan point of view as specified by the LGNA foreign minister,“it’s the time to treat the crisis from the roots” ,and stopping the illegal immigrants from crossing the Libya’s south borders, and this should be achieved by the complete cooperation of the international & European organizations ,and the local governments of the surrounding countries.
Libya today is the victim of the ancient Europeanpolicies in Africa. In the past; they exploited the sub-Sahara countries ,suck their natural resources, and treated the black peoples as the servants, and today; they support corrupted governments and refused to make real investments in region.
